Evaluation of the 2nd year!!

But first...The title sequence video for Lee Evans. Took me ages to upload this, but finally it worked, so here is my Lee Evans Title Sequence.

Evaluation!

First of all I really did enjoy the final major project, even though at time I wanted to curl up in to a ball and cry. The thing I enjoyed most is probably the title sequence for Lee Evans Biography. I just finished reading it and I enjoyed it so much I dont think there was any doubt that I wanted to base my sequence on that. I had an idea of what I wanted it to look like from day one and I havent looked back and thought I could've done it differently. The only thing I think I couldve added looking at it now is maybe adding more subtle animations to it. For example movement of the face, arms etc. But overall very happy with the outcome, I'm hoping to send it to Lee Evans himself. The re creation project of The Lion King had its ups and downs. I really did enjoy it but I really struggled at times, especialy with developing Simba, I can honestly say I wont be watching Lion King for a while and if I see Simba I'll probably rugby tackle him. The part I enjoyed most is Rafiki and Pumbaa, two of my favourite characters, I found them so fun to draw, as you can see in my work their characters look the most confident in my sketches. I struggled with the turnarounds as well, something I really need to work on, so through the summer I plan on learning a bit about the human anatomy so I undertsand the muscles and bones better. Overall I've very happy with the Lion King re creation even though I would change a few things, but very pleased with the outcome of the characters. Collaboration was on and off all through the project so when we finally decided to create a game with two weeks left I really had fun creating the character based on myself, one thing I regret is not coming up with the idea earlier because it was good fun doing it with the rest of the group. Overall final major project for the 2nd year was fun and I'm very pleased with the outcome, some things I would change but I'll take what I learnt this year in to the third year!
